Day 1:

• 09:00 - Meet and greet in Dubai. Transfer by Luxury AC Bus passing Ras Al khaimah to Khasab, which is the capital of Musandam through the panoramic, coastal road, overlooking the Gulf of Arabia and the Straits of Hormuz.

• UAE exit fee & entry visa to Oman

• Assistance at both borders

• Arrive at the Khasab and check in at ESRA Hotel Apartments

• Lunch (Optional) at the hotel

• 1200 hrs – Arrive at Khasab and visit the Khasab Fort

• Khasab Fort Visit this picturesque stronghold built in the 17th century by the Portuguese seeking dominion over the maritime trade in the Strait of Hormuz. The fort was erected to prevent attacks from the sea. Teak wood from India was used for its construction and the roof was fashioned from a mix of palm leaves and clay. Within its low, crenellated walls, the fort contains a large central tower which is thought to pre-date the fort itself. The structure you see today is the result of extensive restoration work carried out in the late 20th century. The fort’s location offers excellent views and photo opportunities.

• After the visit of Khasab Fort , Arrive at ESRA Hotel Apartment

• Dinner at the “Bait Al Qafel” Omani Traditional restaurant

Day 2:

• Breakfast at the Hotel

• Transfer to Khasab harbor (Port)

The best way to experience the idyllic beauty of Musandam is by sea trips on typical dhows. Many species of sea birds roam and nest around the cliffs at Khour Ghubb Ali. Dolphins can be sighted near the Jebel Shams on Khour Shem Fjord, the sea fossils and petroglifes dated more than 2000 yrs you can be seen in Jebel Harim the highest peak in Musandam. Khasab also has a number of modern shopping areas with imported Iranian goods and locally created pottery. Khasab TownKhasab Town is the regional center of Musandam, Sultanate of Oman. It is located very close to the Strait of Hormuz about 60 km away from Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, about 2 and half hours from Dubai. It is known for fishing and diving, Khasab is currently evolving as a tourist destination, the diving in the area being well known for its challenges. Mountain safaris are popular as are the Dhow Cruises of the nearby Fjords. Transfers to Muscat by plane or by ferry boat are available in Khasab.
